Example Itinerary

Day 1 : Set off from the UK arrive by plane (usually night flight) Transfer to the hotel Arrive at hotel and allocated rooms
Day 2 : Breakfast at the hotel Orientation meeting and introduction to hotel facilities Morning: at the aquapark and hotel pool. Lunch at the hotel Afternoon: visit Fethiye – see amphitheatre, Lycian Rock tombs Visit Fethiye Museum Visit the central mosque trip round old town of Fethiye Return to hotel for evening meal
Day 3 : Breakfast at the hotel Boat trip : visit St Nicholas island with monastry and roman ruins Blue cave bay – natural cave formed by sea and tides Butterfly Valley – natural valley and beach with unique structure and plants. Cold water bay – where a natural fresh cold water spring enters sea. Lunch on the boat Return to hotel for evening meal.
Day 4: Breakfast at the hotel Horseriding trip to Kaya Koy – deserted Greek village Explore Kaya Koy and visit the Ruins of the Greek Orthodox Churches and houses. Lunch at Kaya Koy Walk from here to OluDeniz beach or Gemiler Beach over mountains following traditional shepherd trails. Return to the hotel by minibus Evening meal and Turkish night at the hotel traditional oriental belly dancer and folk dancers.
Day 5 : Jeep Safari – full day tour visiting: Tlos – ruins of ancient Roman town with Lycian and Byzantine structures Yakapark – traditional Trout farm in amongst fresh water spring waterfalls. Saklikent Gorge – a natural wonder created by the natural fresh water springs feeding the Saklikent river Lunch Mud Bath along the Saklikent river – great evidence of sedimentation Xanthos – Roman amphitheatre with two fabulous examples of Roman Sarcophagi Patara Beach – the longest sandy beach in Europe Return to Hotel for evening Meal
Day 6 : Breakfast at the hotel Trip to Dalyan stop at a carpet factory to learn about the history of Turkish Carpet weaving arrive at the small town of Dalyan charter a boat to take you throgh the maze of reeds along the Dalyan river from Koyegiz Lake. Look out fort the many water birds unique to the area including Storks early in the season Also home to the rare Carreta Carreta Turtles who lay their eggs on Turtle beach Sail past the Lycian Rock tombs Visit the natural Sulphur mud baths and wash off in the hot spring Lunch Call in at Kaunos – a Roman fortress city at the top of the hill Finally stop at Turtle beach a natural spit where the fresh water from the Dalyan river delta meets the waters of the Mediterranean. Return through the reeds to Dalyan town. Back to the hotel for evening meal last night Disco
Day 7 : Breakfast at the hotel Packing for trip home – leaving out a change of clothes Morning at the aquapark Trip down to Kidrak Beach – natural bay BBQ on the beach and time to chill out in the surf enjoying the scenery of the unglaciated mountains. Back to the hotel for evening meal Transfer to the airport for trip back to the UK All trips and meals above are included in the cost of your trip. Flights to and from the UK are not included, however, we can provide you with a quote for flights and also include the cost of your flights as part of the package if required. All trips can be tailored to meet your needs to focus more on the historical or geographical sides of study. We can also cater for adventure holidays, cultural exchanges and walking or wildlife focussed studies. Any duration is possible and ther are many other activites available as a supplement.
